BELARUS AID

Prior to our intervention, the association did not have sufficient funds to pay a driver for the mini bus. Consequently dozens of disabled children and their families particularly in surrounding villages and some of the most needy, were unable to attend the centre thereby having no association, special massages and learning, plus their parent(s) have no respite from daily care.  Children also cannot be conveyed for treatment or to enter competitions etc.

Whilst we have given them the means to employ a driver in the short term, the mini bus they currently have is well past its best, is unreliable and constantly breaks down as we experienced during a recent visit.  The vehicle is also not fitted with a hoist or securing points for wheelchairs.

Therefore, In addition to our commitment to keep the centre open and running we would love as a separate entity to provide additional funding for a properly fitted Mini-Bus. We therefore need to raise an additional fourteen thousand pounds.

We appeal to all our friends and supporters, to individuals, organisations and groups to help us in any way to achieve our goal.

We recognise the economic constraints that exist today but the families of disabled children within the Rogachev association who are courageous and dedicated enough to care for their children at home with little or no state funding (rather than place them in Institutions), we believe deserve our Help.

Please support us in any way you can
